In addition to continuing with their social development, the child becomes in an ethical being who questions and faces consequences. His vital energy is the sexuality one; their feelings are in a process of organization to appear in that individual who will shape the human society.

New activities of preparation are proposed for adulthood that involve the understanding of all sciences integrated. They are presented opportunities of self-expression through Socratic seminaries, investigations, individual and group projects; furthermore, the importance of production and exchanging.

In a Montessori environment freedom is certainly very important, but to conquer it students have to work independently and respectfully.
They actively participate in their development and learning process and can self-direct intelligently and choose freely. In Montessori, order, silence and concentration are the constants.

Glossary

Materials. Students are introduced to an immense variety of materials to provide a solid foundation for all human abilities and intelligences.

In the environments, the materials are distributed in different areas to which students have free access and where they can choose the activity they want to perform.
